Cognitive Processing Therapy
Cognitive Processing Therapy, or CPT is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that helps you learn how to modify and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to trauma. It is specifically used to treat PTSD.
CPT is generally delivered over 12 sessions. Through CPT, you’ll create a new understanding and conceptualization of any traumatic events in your past, so that you can reduce ongoing negative effects on your current life.
If you’ve been diagnosed with PTSD and are looking for solutions, CPT may be a solution. I have completed CPT training and am here to help you. You don’t have to live with debilitating PTSD symptoms. A way out is possible.
